EMBRACING MY TRUTH
Jamole Callahan spent six years in foster care living in nine different homes until he was emancipated at age 18. Although he had doting and attentive grandparents the state of Ohio still decided to put Jamole in foster care. He moved to nine different homes before he reached one that propelled him into building a successful life. The influence of his foster father planted the seed of Mr. Motivator by the mantra “Recognize no such word as impossible.”
Those words leveled up his passion to use his voice and change the child welfare system and initiate the transformation of minds through motivational speaking. He is a keynote speaker and trainer domestically and internationally in addition to becoming a powerful voice in foster care advocacy in local and become a powerful voice in advocacy for foster care housing and outcomes on a local, federal and international level. and to change the child welfare system and ensuring excellent outcomes for foster youth and all individuals. He is a proud husband and father of four with his eyes on turning the impossible into opportunities for greatness.

The Voice
From telling his story to inspire to revving up audiences at events and being a voice of reason in a room of those uncertain about the future, people have heard Jamole’s voice at local, national, and international organizations events.
His voice has traveled to: Montgomery, AL, Orlando,FL , Atlanta, GA, Indianapolis, IN, Oklahoma City, OK, Sheffield, United Kingdom and Washington DC. California (Multiple Locations), Maryland (Multiple Locations), Ohio (Multiple Locations), Pennsylvania (Multiple Locations), and Texas (Multiple locations) .
The Knowledge
It is the speaker who motivates and the teacher who changes lives. Jamole Callahan has reinvested in his home state of Ohio to educate Child Welfare professionals on critical components that affect foster youth’s health, education, permanency, and housing.
His curriculum has been a part of training sessions with the : Buckeye Ranch, Clark County DHS , The National Resource Center for Youth Development, North Central Ohio Regional Training Center, Southeast Ohio Regional Training Center, Southwest Ohio Regional Training Center, and Western Ohio Regional Training Center.
ADVOCACY
It’s not enough to speak and teach, you must act. Jamole Callahan turned his attention to local organizations, governments, and federal offices to create a new path for foster youth that they do not have to recover from. He lent his voice and ideas to influence laws and initiatives that will change the outcomes for foster youth in America.
Foster Youth to Independence (FYI) Initiative
Offers housing vouchers to local public housing authorities to prevent or end homelessness among young adults under the age of 25 who are, or have recently left, the foster care system without a home to go to.
Fostering Stable Housing Opportunities Act 2019
Prioritizes minors who are aging out of foster care and at risk of homelessness when furnishing housing assistance, and provides these individuals enhanced opportunities to become successful, productive members of society.
ACTION Ohio
Alumni of Care Together Improving Outcomes Now Ohio (ACTION Ohio) is dedicated to improving outcomes for current and former foster care youth.
The Ohio Fostering Connections Act
Instrumental in extending foster care in Ohio to the age of 21 and advocated for federal housing supports for young adults aging out of care.
